Who are LANSOAP?
LANSOAP are a group of LAN party enthusiasts who are organising non-profit LAN party events in the Lincolnshire area. We felt there was a lack of and interest for a larger LAN party in the East Midlands region.
What is a LAN party?
A LAN party is an event where the participants bring their computers and equipment to a venue, connect to a LAN network and play games and socialise. The events are a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone, and a great chance to meet like-minded people!

What are the rules?
1. Please do not share illegal data on the network. LANSOAP does not condone the use of pirated games or software, and we have no support for them.
2. Please do not bring speakers or stereo systems. Please use headphones!
3. No smoking inside the building!
4. Keep noise outside the building to a minimum
5. Put your litter in the bins provided, don't just leave it for someone else to deal with.
6. Don't take up more than one table space or more than one chair
7. Use only your own power extension! Please don't plug into the main power supply or use a neighbours!
8. Please do not view pornographic/offensive films or images. This is a public event and it may offend others.
How much will it cost?
The price of a ticket for the full 48-hours of gaming is £35.
Where can I sleep?
Floor sleeping is allowed at the LAN party, and this is what most of the participants will be doing. We have a seperate sleeping area in the room adjacent to the main LAN party hall, and you can throw down your camping mat/airbed and take some sleep when you need it. Or you could sleep in your car, or on your chair if you're feeling especially hardcore ;)
I'm on the train, I can't get from the station!
We will be able to pick people up from the station who need it, please post on the forum. This service is of course free.
Can I bring spectators?
Yes, spectators are free but there is a limit of 2 per paying customer to avoid overcrowding
